Yin Yoga with Evening Meditation

This Yin Yoga class is focused mostly on the hips and hamstrings.

Yin Yoga is a practice of stretching the body deeply, with long holds of the postures and targeting connective tissues including fascia, bones, and joints. A yin practice reduces stress , increases circulation, balances internal organs and improves flow of prana.

It balances our yang or fast-paced physical yoga practice,  by slowing down & practicing patience.  It relieves tension, improves flexibility, encourages mindfulness and meditation.

We will end with a meditation that is best done in the evening that gently stimulates the pituitary and pineal glands and relaxes the parasympathetic nervous system, making you both aware yet relaxed.
